11/15/2024: This is a notification from the City of Fredericksburg: Cowan Boulevard has reopened to all traffic; the sewer repair project has been completed.
Update #4: The City’s contractor, W.C. Spratt, Inc. is in the final stages of replacing the sewer main under Cowan Boulevard, and the road is set to re-open to all traffic by Monday, November 18th depending on the weather. This emergency repair work has improved the sanitary system with better materials that will improve the longevity and performance of the system, while helping to ensure the City of Fredericksburg citizens have reliable service for many years to come. We greatly appreciate the community’s patience during this important project.
